YBX Labs Payment & Refund Policy

1. Introduction
This Payment and Refund Policy outlines the billing procedures, payment terms, and refund eligibility for the proprietary software products and custom engineering services provided by YBX Labs. Because our deliverables consist of digital infrastructure, dedicated engineering hours, and cloud-based deployments rather than physical goods, our policies are structured around service milestones and subscription terms.
2. Payment Terms
We structure our billing based on the type of solution you are utilizing:
- Custom Engineering & Architecture Services: Specialized projects (including AI workflow integration, Web3 architecture, and open-source management) are typically billed on a milestone or retainer basis. A detailed payment schedule will be outlined in your specific Statement of Work (SOW). Unless otherwise specified, invoices are due within Net 30 days of the invoice date.
- Proprietary Products & SaaS: Access to our proprietary orchestration platforms and software tools is billed on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annually) and requires payment upfront prior to access or deployment.
- Supported Payment Methods: We accept standard enterprise payment methods, including major credit cards and bank/wire transfers. Given our active presence in the Web3 sector, we may also accept select cryptocurrency payments (e.g., USDC, USDT) for specific contracts, subject to prior mutual agreement.
3. Return and Refund Policy
Due to the nature of enterprise software deployment and custom engineering, we maintain a strict policy regarding refunds.
Custom Services and Engineering
- Payments made for completed engineering milestones, consulting hours, or finalized architectural plans are strictly non-refundable.
- If a project is terminated early by the client, you will be billed for all work completed and hours logged up to the date of cancellation. Any prepaid amounts exceeding the value of the completed work will be refunded.
Proprietary Software and Subscriptions
- No "Returns" on Digital Goods: We do not offer returns or refunds for software licenses, API access, or deployed infrastructure once the service has been provisioned.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your product subscriptions at any time. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
- SLA Exceptions: If YBX Labs fails to meet the guaranteed uptime or performance metrics explicitly outlined in your Enterprise Service Level Agreement (SLA), you may be eligible for service credits or a prorated refund as defined within that specific contract.
4. Web3 and Cryptocurrency Transactions
For clients paying via cryptocurrency or interacting with our Web3 smart contracts:
- Blockchain transactions are inherently irreversible. YBX Labs cannot issue refunds for funds sent to the wrong wallet address or across the wrong network.
- Any authorized refunds for services originally paid in cryptocurrency will be issued in the original fiat value of the contract at the time of payment, not the token amount, to account for market volatility.
5. Late Payments and Service Suspension
We require timely payments to maintain the high-performance infrastructure your business relies on.
- Late Fees: Invoices past due may accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month or the highest rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.
- Suspension: If an account remains past due for more than 15 days, YBX Labs reserves the right to suspend access to proprietary products, halt ongoing engineering work, and pause server environments until the balance is settled.
6. Billing Disputes
If you believe there is an error on your invoice, you must contact our billing department within 14 days of receiving the invoice. We will work with your team to promptly review and resolve the discrepancy.
